This Week's Announcements...


Men's Fellowship— The Men's Fellowship have resumed their study in the book of Romans on Monday evenings @ 6:30pm at the Ross Home.  Maps are available. 

Apples of Gold— Women are invited to a 7-week study based on Proverbs 25:11 and Titus 2:3-5.  It will begin next week Sat., Oct. 17th at 10am - 1pm.  All other classes will be on Friday evenings from 6pm- 9pm.  This is a time to share cooking skills, relational skills and studying the word together as the older women nurture younger women.  The cost is $20 to cover your meals and study materials.  Space is limited!  If you've signed up for this study, your books are available at the Information table.  Please contact Rae Nam @ (808) 224-4245 if you have any questions.

Women's Tea— Women are invited to an afternoon Tea at the home of Sophia Ross (maps are available at the Information Tables) on Sat., October 24th from 2:00-4:00pm.  Sandy Diego will be sharing her testimony - "Dealing with the Diagnosis of Cancer" and have a question and answer, and time of prayer.  Please sign up at the Information Tables or RSVP to Gwen Hashimura.

Friday Furlough Program— CCK is offering a Friday Furlough Program for students in Kindergarten through 5th Grade here on our property.  Drop-off will be available from 7:30am and Pick-up at 2:45pm.  Class instruction wil begin at 8:00am.  This is a great opportunity for your child to be tutored, inspired by guest speakers in our community and have fun too!  A morning snack and lunch will be provided.  The cost will be $20/day for the first child and $10/day for additional siblings.  Registraction forms and a schedule for the day are available on this website.  We will also have the copies available at the Information Table for anyone who might not have access to the internet.

Hallelujah Night (Halloween) - It's only weeks away.  If you are interested in reaching out to your neighborhood in a fun way and would like to host a gathering at your house see Michelle Stokes or Malie for details.

Christmas Choir— The CCK Christmas Choir will begin practicing for the annual Christmas Eve Celebration Program in a few weeks, Sunday- October 25th @ 2:00pm.  Encourage your family and friends of the fellowship to participate in this year's choir.

Perry & the Poor Boys— Also on Sat., October 31st we will be having a potluck and hosting a concert by Perry & The Poor Boys starting @ 6:00pm.  Joining him this year is Thomas McClary who was the founder of the Commadores and is the lead guitarist for Lionel Richie.  Thomas is currently the Worship Pastor of a church fellowship of 6,000+ people.  Also joinging him is Ryan McAllister who is also an musician in guitar, harmonica, and vocals.  If you're not plannig of joining one of the neighborhood outreaches come on by for some food and good music...bring a friend!

7th Annual Missions Banquet— The Annual Missions Banquet is schedule for Fri., Nov. 13th at the Aloha Beach Resort @ 6:30pm.  The speaker will be Don Richardson, author of Peace Child and Eternity in Their Hearts.  Contact Don Tofte @ 826-6448 for reservations.

Sermon CD/DVD— CD's of this week's sermon will be available at the Bookstore about 15 minutes after the worship service.  DVD's and past sermons will be available the following week of ordering.
